JIM HENSON x JAMES JEBBIA
Spotted in Soho, rumored to be shot by Terry Richardson (obviously). I’m not even going to begin to comment on the state/my feeling regarding Supreme, but I will say I would be more impressed if this was fake…UPDATE: It’s real - from nylon.com.

THE VIRGINS SLING ICE CREAM
So as we are getting ready for the March Issue, I was going through a feature we’re running on Waris Ahluwalia andI remember that he mentioned to me that he saw a commercial featuring The Virgins when he was overseas. After digging through google for a minute or two, I manage to stumble up a clip from Italian TV. Pretty cool - These guys are doing some pretty high profile things here, but the reach they have world wide is crazy. Take a look.
RZA & VINCENT GALLO

Remember that Belvedere Vodka commercial by Terry Richardson I showed you a while ago? I watched that thing on repeat to hear the 30 second clip of the song, but I don’t have to do that anymore. Here is the full version of the track called “Something I Want (For Real)” by RZA featuring everyone’s favorite weirdo/actor/director/recipient of a blow job from Chloe Sevigny, Vincent Gallo.
TREND REPORT: VANS AUTHENTICS (40 YEARS LATE!)

Van Authentics have been classics for the longest time and for me are my causal footwear of choice for the summer - They’re classic and they’re cheap so I don’t mind if they take a beating and get sweaty. I was going to post about Loden Dager’s collection for Uniqlo (right), but It’s been all over the web and back within 5 minutes of it’s release, and I like to try and keep things original. Anyways, I could have told you nothing is more than $80 and that it will be in stores soon, and blah, blah, blah… but what’s more interesting is that so many contemporary brands, such as Corpus (left) are using off-white Vans Authentics as their footwear of choice for their lookbooks. There gets to be a point where there is a fine line between classic and everything-looks-the-same, even down to the backdrop.
OPENING CEREMONY S/S 08 SNEAK PREVIEW
Still not released, but here is a look at the infamous Opening Ceremony shoes for this coming season. The suede is awesome and so are the patent toes. Get your hands on these soon.
DEJOUR ENDORSES: SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION

This photo is awesome - around 20 years ago and look how relevant these guys still look, and what more bad ass than wearing your own band’s t-shirt? It gives off the “yeah we know were good” vibe and also, the “I’m so into the music that I just wear whatever is around” vibe. The Grateful Dead, amongst many others used to do it but you don’t see that any more. Extra points on this one for the tank top.
INTRODUCING: DONOVAN

Formerly producing music under the alias killdahype, Donovan decided to eschew the name becuase they want nothing to do with hype. David and Nicholas are in it for the long rung, with their smart, smooth electro sound, and are surprisingly still unsigned to a record label. We sat down with Nicholas to talk about life on the road, searching for a label to call home and the current Parisian electro scene. By Kyle Morrison

THE DARJEELING LIMITED SHIRT by APC

You will almost never not see me in my APC jeans, so I guess you can say I’m a big fan of the brand. I’m also a big fan of Wes Anderson and The Darjeeling Limited. Not necessarily a shirt I would wear/buy, but I think it is a cool idea. Another APC I do in fact like is the House of Waris shirt they produced - I dug this shirt way before I knew that House of Waris was the Waris Ahluwalia’s jewelry brand, but thought the typography was cool - still can’t manage to find a picture of it, but it’s currently at the NY APC store.
