Weather: The weather is cool, with average low and high temperatures of 18 °C (64 °F) and 26 °C (80 °F). It is one of the best times of the year to visit Taiwan, with mostly sunny and pleasant weather and little rain.
Clothing: During the day it is warm, and a T-shirt or a long-sleeve shirt is suitable. For early morning and evening a coat is needed, sometimes also a sweater. If you plan to visit mountainous areas, a coat and a sweater are necessary.
Things to Do
November has relatively less rainfall, and it is still warm. It is a good time to go to the mountain parks to see the fall foliage. Taiwan's national parks, hot springs, geysers, and scenic mountain areas have world-class facilities and natural attractions.

Hike the Hillsides of Yangmingshan: Yangmingshan is a national park with world-class scenery and facilities on the northern outskirts of Taipei. It is free to visit, and there is convenient public transportation. The tallest peak, Mount Qixing (Seven Star Mountain), has an elevation of 1,120 meters (3,674 feet). You'll find vegetation zones ranging from subtropical rainforest to scrubby trees and grass. There are hot springs like those at Beitou Geothermal Valley and volcanic sulfuric vents.

See the National Treasures: National Palace Museum in Taipei is a world-class museum. You can see one of the world’s great collections of Chinese artifacts and treasures dating from the Zhou Dynasty about 3,000 years ago. Some of the best Qing Dynasty (1644–1911) treasures were preserved there. On the Chinese mainland, many treasures were destroyed or stolen.
Travel: November isn't a high travel month.
